AI Cannot Build Relationships.
But for Those Who Already Have Relationships, It Can Be a Meaningful Supplementary Device.
Therefore Technology Has Meaning Only Within a Hybrid System, Not as an Independent Solution.

This study does not view AI care as a simple 'introduction of novel technology' but presents a realistic direction as a primary screening tool and an efficient case management linkage tool. Its most significant differentiating point is that it included single-person households across all life stages — youth, middle-aged adults, and others — unlike existing studies limited only to the elderly, exploring AI's potential as a universal social safety net.

Sustainability of Welfare Technology
The study noted that the longer the service benefit period, the higher the willingness to recommend to others. This means that if only the difficulties of initial technology adaptation are effectively managed, AI care services can give users strong trust over the long term. As a result, while AI well-being call services currently remain at a satisfaction level of 60–70 points out of 100, they have proven their potential as a 'primary screening tool' providing regular wellness checks to large numbers of people at low cost.
