30th General Assembly Votes to Change Association Name to ''Korea HR Industry Association''
Korea HR Service Industry Association elected Son Yeong-deuk, CEO of KS Korea Employment Information, as its 16th Chairman at the 30th Regular General Assembly held February 25 at the Korea Press Center. Chairman Son (former Senior Vice Chairman of the Association; currently Gangwon Regional Labor Committee employer member, labor dispute mediation committee member, and Opinion Leaders Club chairman) emphasized in his inauguration speech: "In the AI era, new change and adaptation are essential for the HR·BPO industry — the association will provide information, diverse support, and effective responses to regulations and policies."
KS Korea Employment Information, established 1998, is Korea's representative contact center specialist company with 2023 revenue of 303.5 billion won and 7,500 employees, having completed KS Tower (14 above ground, 4 underground, 13,045㎡) in January 2024 at Godeok Valley, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The association, established 1992 as Korea's largest HR·BPO business organization with 200+ member companies including major operators such as Samgu I&C and Geniel, also voted to change its name to "HR Industry Association" per member company requests.
