Busan Museum of Art announced on the 29th it will release "Busan Museum of Art Metaverse" on December 24, enabling virtual space visits to the museum. The metaverse was planned to keep pace with changes in a world where the boundary between reality and virtual disappears, and to maintain the museum's public character during an internal renovation period. Busan Museum of Art signed a joint metaverse R&D agreement with game company The Crossing Lab in April. Three exhibitions await in the metaverse: "Collection 99.999" (99 collection highlights in high-resolution); "Busan Art, Its Beginning" (spotlighting 15 first-generation artists); "BMA" (19 Korean media artworks). 274 works by 108 artists are accessible — visitors enter a preferred exhibition and can freely view throughout the metaverse Busan Museum of Art. Access method available via the museum's website from December.
