Top-Level Evaluation Across Environment, Social, and Governance

LG Electronics (CEO Cho Joo-wan) has been selected for the second consecutive year at the top tier (Top 1%) in S&P Global's "Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA)." This recognition of global ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) management leadership represents an important indicator of the company's sustainable management standards.

LG Electronics has established and practices six strategic pillars based on its ESG vision of "Better Life for All": climate action, circular economy, responsible supply chain, diversity and inclusion, product accessibility, and transparent governance. The company completed SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative) verification as the first in Korea's home appliance industry, establishing science-based emissions reduction targets. LG Electronics achieved top industry-level scores across environmental, social, and governance categories in S&P Global's evaluation.

LG Electronics ESG Strategy Officer Hong Seong-min: "As a global corporate citizen, we plan to fulfill our responsibilities and roles across economic, environmental, and social domains to create a future of shared growth." LG Electronics is expected to further consolidate its position as an ESG leading company through eco-friendly technology development, renewable energy expansion, and transparent management systems.
