Collaboration with Post Office via "e-Green Mail" Institution Link... Simplifying Manual Mail Work and Improving Efficiency

iM Bank (Bank President Hwang Byeong-woo) announced it will implement the banking industry first postal mailing work automation in collaboration with the North Gyeongsang Regional Postal Service (acting director Byeon Hye-jin). This work was carried out through efficiency improvement discussions with the post office for branch staff workload reduction and rapid customer notification, automating the continuously increasing postal mailing work. The "e-Green Mail" system: instead of branch staff manually preparing, printing, enveloping, and mailing documents (loan notices, account statements, regulatory disclosures), the digital system automatically generates documents and transmits them to the post office digital printing and mailing center; the post office handles printing, enveloping, and physical mailing; iM Bank branch staff are relieved of the manual mailing process entirely. The efficiency gains: banking regulatory requirements mandate mailing of multiple document types (loan agreements, account opening confirmations, rate change notices, annual disclosures); as banking transactions have moved online, the mailing work has remained manual while transaction volume has increased; automation reduces human error, accelerates delivery, enables tracking, and frees branch staff for customer-facing work.
