LG Electronics (CEO Cho Joo-wan) will unveil 2 new concept lifestyle projectors at CES 2025 opening in Las Vegas on January 7. Following the premium 4K projector "LG CineBeam Cube" unveiled last year, LG strengthens the lifestyle projector lineup to solidify its position in the market. New projector models: PF600U -- a 3-in-1 new concept projector combining projector with interior lighting and speaker; designed to function as a room fixture rather than a technology intrusion; activates as a projector when entertainment is desired, functions as ambient lighting and speaker otherwise; the 3-in-1 integration addresses the practical objection to projectors that they require a dedicated space and setup/teardown each use. LG strategy with lifestyle projectors: the premium projector market is growing as consumers seek large-screen experiences without the space requirement of large TVs; lifestyle projectors that blend with home interior rather than looking like electronics equipment appeal to design-conscious consumers; LG leveraging its design reputation (recognized through CES Innovation Awards and iF Design Awards) to create projectors that interior designers would recommend, not just technology reviewers.
