Second sLLM-Based Solution Development Commenced with Professor Kim Jun-tae, Chonnam National University Hospital Neurology
MaeinBlock (CEO Park Jong-hyeong), a medical AI healthcare data specialist company nurtured by accelerator Kingsley Ventures, announced on the 16th that it received an Encouragement Award at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups "Welcome to TIPS" Honam region event on the 12th, following its Excellence Award at the 14th KIBO Venture Camp Integrated Demo Day on June 14, qualifying for participation in the Seoul Metropolitan IR event in November.
MaeinBlock presented IR pitching at the event as a promising startup, receiving favorable evaluations from TIPS operating companies and investors. The company received encouragement award, 1 million won prize money, and qualification to participate in the November metropolitan integrated IR event. Benefits from the KIBO Venture Camp Excellence Award include pre-authorization of up to 1.5 billion won guarantee limit and recommendations for guarantee-linked investment attraction. In April, MaeinBlock was selected for the "Hospital-Centered AI-Based Digital Biomedical Industry Advancement Project" organized by Chonnam National University Hospital and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Gwangju Metropolitan City. Following the first sLLM (small Large Language Model) application in gastroenterology at Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital in July 2023, MaeinBlock commenced development of a second sLLM-based headache and dizziness cause diagnosis solution with Professor Kim Jun-tae of Chonnam National University Hospital's neurology department.
