This essay uses gaming language (quests, loading screens, accepting missions) as a metaphor for daily life. Just as a game character faces an endless series of quests that must be accepted and completed, daily life presents continuous tasks, challenges, and decisions. The loading metaphor: the moment between accepting a challenge and actually being able to execute it -- the preparation period, the uncertainty, the incompleteness before mastery; the author is always in some state of loading -- working toward goals that are not yet complete, skills that are not yet mastered, understanding that is not yet deep enough; this permanent state of incompleteness is not failure but the natural condition of a life of continuous growth and learning.
