Starbucks Korea (CEO Son Jeong-hyeon) selected barista Kim Yun-ha working at Starbucks Dongtan Station Lotte R store as the best coffee expert to represent Starbucks Korea for all of 2025. Starbucks holds coffee competitions in each country annually to select one barista with the most outstanding coffee knowledge and passion, appointing them as the "Starbucks Coffee Ambassador" -- the top coffee expert for that country. Korea has also selected a coffee ambassador every year since 2005, spreading coffee expertise and Starbucks coffee culture domestically. This year, from Starbucks baristas across the country, Kim Yun-ha barista was selected for her comprehensive coffee knowledge, barista skills, passion for coffee, and customer service excellence. As the 2025 Starbucks Korea Coffee Ambassador, she will play a role in enhancing the overall level of Starbucks coffee culture across the country through various activities including consumer education and barista training over the next year.
